Bassment FM represents all good music and the people who love it. Why Bassment FM? The name is a fusion of Bass and Basement, one representing the lowest frequency range present in music compositions that we all love, whereas the other represents underground music, possibly underappreciated music, as well as being down-to-Earth. Both of these words also represent the base, the foundation, or you could even call it the source, for all human potential, creativity and future growth. In a way, a house or a building begins from the basement, just like a song begins from the bass. Last but not least, the name is a homage to Bashment FM, a legendary Estonian reggae-dancehall radio show and event series.

For now, we intend to post one or two new 1-hour mix/playlists every month, post news regarding new (free) releases and music videos, plus maybe some other cool stuff as well.
